Get Set Go with the ‘American Idol Top 8’ on DISH Network‘American Idol Top 8′. Wow! Top 8. Well the excitement is rising day by day as the Finale is approaching. Millions of viewers tune into the Fox Channel, every time the show is being aired. There is no doubt about the fact that the American Idol is the biggest reality show of the year, broadcasted through DISH Network. Of course the tension and excitement is not limited among the top 8 contestants but also among the expert studio judges and millions of viewers all over the country. With the majority of the contestants being voted out, only the best are being left on the show. Now it is the real test of the viewers and judges to select the best among the remaining contestants.

On the April 7 episode, the satellite TV viewers thought that Michael Lynche would be eliminated but quite surprisingly the studio judges saved him from being voted out. Lynche sang, Kate Bush’s ‘The Woman’s work’, hearing which Kara DioGuardihad tears in her eyes and the audience were simply mesmerized as he sang. After a marvelous performance by Michael Lynche, Simon Cowell, one the studio judges, to create a dramatic situation, spoke quietly to Lynche, “The frustrating thing is, Michael, is that we all wish you did something like that yesterday, and this is why you’re in the position you’re in right now. We only have one save in the competition. This is unanimous, Michael, if it’s any comfort, and we have decided we’re going to see you next week.”

The audience went made with excitement and Lynche was totally euphoric after the results were announced. It was a truly a proud moment for him as the judges gave him a standing ovation for his mind blowing performance. Dish Network Witnessed Reduction in Revenues

The fourth quarter revenue of Dish Network witnessed eighteen per cent reduction. But at the same time the number of subscribers has gone up significantly. The rise in the number of subscribers is mainly due to aggressive promotions that have been carried out to attract the budget-conscious subscribers.

Due to this aggressive promotion, the low-cost direct-to-home TV service provider has managed to gain around 2, 49,000 subscribers. This aggressive promotion has made an impact on the net revenue earning of the company since it got dropped by 17.5 per cent. The company has mentioned about its fifth quarter revenue earning, which is US$ 179 million. The revenue of its previous quarter is US$ 217 million.

According to Thompson Reuters, the result went beyond the 32 per cent earning per share, which the business analysts have been expecting. The company is always trying to raise the number of satellite television subscribers. In the past, the number of subscribers got reduced. In a desperate attempt to win back its subscribers, the company went for aggressive promotional strategy.

The strategy helped the enterprise to gain approximately 2, 49,000 subscribers in the United States. Some of the famous business analysts Collins Stewart and Thomas Eagan are glad to see the significant rise in the number of subscribers of subscribers. They have expected the growth to be around 199,000.

Though the fourth quarter revenue earnings of the company have faced a little impact, it is nice to see that the number of subscribers of Dish Network has increased. Therefore the company can expect rise in revenue in the coming year.
